Sweet memories of my childhood...
Brings tears to my eyes,
I still vividly remember,
The CHILD within me- calm and mild,
Endowed with a thoughtful and creative mind...
Innocent, but bold...
A heart full of zest and zeal,
Sensitive enough to feel,
I am startled to witness a Transformation,
A kind of degeneration,
The CHILD within me seems to be crumbling,
The event characterized by an ill feeling,
Eventually the signs of a malicious end,
Alas! I catch the glimpse of a helpless wrecked CHILD...

|| The Holocaust ||
Circa World War 2;
The race for Ace had begun.
Men Dictated their eccentric ideologies
And the States in frenzy,
Gunned for Supreme Power.
Circa August 6th,1945;
I opened my eyes
Feeling the fresh morning dew.
The Sun had barely risen up
From its Slumber.
It shyed away to open its eyes,
And turned Red.
The nature blushed in its eternal calm
And the Birds sung its paean.
The day began
With the mundane chores.
Men left for jobs,
Women ferried into household tasks,
And the children with flags of dreams
Left to school.
The clock ticked at 0815 hours
And the menacing jets hovered.
The colossal wind caught its speed,
The trees swayed amok,
The birds crossed each other.
And, BOOM!!!
The deadly Thud, silenced the World.
Heavens watched
As the Sun rose again.
The white blaze
Turned into a maddening fireball
Spitting its curse of orange.
The "Little Boy" merged
The Mankind unto Nature
And The Nature unto the blood grave.
The dead knew no time
And the maimed died with time.
I'm a Hibakusha -
Survivor of the Hiroshima Bombing.
And yet, this fad for the maddening reign
Prevails with the arm's race.
I lay here, consumed
With scars and burns,
With woes and memories,
With eyes and ears
And, With my immortal cries -
"The World became Hell
And, the Hell became World.
The Power became Peace
And, the Peace became Power.
The Man became God
And, the God became Man,
I became Death
And, the Death became Me...."

Love Sting!!!
Moon drops of glow,
She smelt of clove,
Wasps of night, shimmered and shone in dew,
As her Silky hair smothered and Drenched in misty hue...
Anklets twinkling,
Jingling And Blinking,
Wavy hip curls,
Dancing like pearls,
Eyes of nectar spraying,
Sprinkling,
Potion of love dripping,
Tingling,
And, the Pink lipped tulips cupped in embrace,
Embellished,adorned with a shy grimace...
Lilly's are afresh and blooming,
Violets are sensuous and glooming,
My cheeks go red and pink,
Ah! Did she wink?
Cupid with love arrow Darts,
Infringes and Flirts,
As the Bees titillate the petals,
As the Breeze tickle the Daffodils...
Love stings,
Emotions trickle,
Hearts sew,
Souls Bond,
As Reality hugs eternity...

!!..A Cup of Coffee..!!
Scorching sun gave way to clouds of grey,
I stood by the coffee shop,With a hot cappuccino.
Sipping it languidly as the drops of coffee savoured my taste buds.
Thoughts meandered as the caffeine slicked my brain.
Bustling traffic, Insane Honks
And the parched smoke charring the lifeline.
Amidst this,
Life tried to weave a rosy picture painted with colors of this grave world....
My ears heard a utter,
My eyes saw a flutter.
I turned back as my heart heard a cry.
A woman thin and pale,
In her early 30's.
Ashed eyebrows, face smeared with leprosy marks.
Her Hair unwashed and unkempt to web her plight.
Every wrinkle on her face had a story to tell.
Tattered chunks of rugs draped her like the shattered folds.
Wore a blue knicker stained and greased with woes of life.
Her lean, thinned out legs anchored the burden of self.
Her senses in shambles, uttering in a dialect of her own,
Which none could decipher but only drew crowd's attention towards her dismay...
All was she barren and abandoned,
Life had tricked her like a game of cards.
She clasped her blue knicker like a woman with no dignity.
Seemed she was unclean with the menstrual blood dripping all over.
Rubbing those parts which owed her pain.
I couldn't imbibe or absorb the scene that the harsh world had afflicted her with.
My inner self quaked as if i was spilt between the reality and the illusion of life,
My nerves of emotions felt for her as the damned fate of hers gleamed in my
eyes...
A pungent stench emanated as she inched towards me.
Her eyes pitched intensely on the cup of coffee i held,
She strapped suddenly and assayed to snatch the cup of coffee.
I stepped back
And, felt awkward as the heartless people gazed with their prying eyes.
She screamed insanely as though the cup of coffee meant her all.
I wondered was i born to see this day?
I always cribbed incessantly about my life when it meted out disappointments.
And, here i was face to face,
To agnise that life had more to take away than to give...
I did my bit and bought her a cup of coffee.
And there, as she lay on the dust laden surface,
As though the life had mocked at her...
Squalling and Shrieking in anguish,
Collecting those empty cups of coffee...
I stood by the coffee shop,With a hot cappuccino.

To Live like a BABY Again...
Nature clocking on the tick of spring,
I hear the cuckoo's sing,
Wind chimes jingling,
Birds chirping,
And, never before,
I yawned in reverie to the folklore...
Mama tells me,
How I cry on her lap,
How I feather my hands like wings,
How I crouch my little fingers in her palms...
She taps me, burps me,
And, I hum my own nuances of innocence.
As I see,
She took me to bed, brights those lamps
And, it rays her love like turquoise of gems.
The shine of it gleaming in my eyes,
Blue, red and green,
The moments turn into a picturesque...
As I lay,
I childishly wink, roll over the bed,
box punch as though I knew my skills then.
As mama sings a lullaby,
I murmur to those tunes,
Slowly my eyes close, calmness gripping me
like life of boon embracing this little life.
Those were the days,
Gone are those days,
And, it tempts
To live like a baby again...

Crucified...
Oh! Christ,
I was marching with the torch of Truth,
Burning Bright,
Convincing the coterie.
And they shunned Me.
I was Crucified...
Oh! Christ,
I was wading in my dreams
Through the tunnel of Aspirations,
Eyeing the Zenith.
And the reality killed Me.
I was Crucified...
Oh! Christ,
I swooned over Women and Wine,
Fell prey to materialism,
To suffice the mortal desires.
And It eternally left Me.
I was crucified...
Oh! Christ,
I Broke the shackles of Me,
Burdened the humanity on my toes,
In quest of peace and soul.
And the history betrayed Me.
I was crucified...
Oh! Christ,
I know why thou Lord, You
And Me were Crucified.
I tread the Path My Heart said.
And thou Lord, You
Tread the Path the God Laid.
And the World Blinded It.
We were Crucified...

Eyes Of Sin
At the gore cemetery,
He stood,With the Eyes of sin,
And the Dagger that slit his wife,
Hands trembled, palms sweated,
Conscience marred and the soul grieved,
As the Drops of blood,
Dripped Like saline tears
And, Coalesced into a blood splash on the grey earth...
Reminiscences of the day
Moved before his eye,
In the morning, Before he left to his business trip
He kissed her forehead to bid adieu,
And said, "You are my life and I owe it to you..."
She had smiled And said,
"World to me is you
And, I shall long for you
till every ounce of me remains in you..."
In the wake of the half moon night,
He returned home all sudden,
To find his wife sell her soul to another man,
His life draped naked and traded to desires,
His feelings disowned and stripped to mock,
He died a death in the hands of his own love...
And wondered,
How hollow were her words...?
Thoughts threaded like intertwined creepers,
One after other, endlessly gripping him,
Emotions grew like storm and washed him in tears,
He questioned thy self,
Why did she betray me?
Why did she blindfold herself to my unconditional love?
Why did she give into the lust of another man?
As he dug her grave,
Flashes of memory haunted him,
The day when he kissed her first,
At the wedding solemn,
Those words in his ears echoed,
"Thou shall be my earnest wife,
my sole companion till the eternity sighs..."
And there he lay today
To bury his beloved wife
Down into the chasm of timeless sands...
As the light of the day shimmered the sky in crimson,
Dawn arose but too late,
He lay on the epitaph of his tainted love,
And engraved it with smears of his blood,
"Our eyes met for eternity to love,
To paint it with my empty dreams,
I lay here with my slit veins,
To sour you into our eyes of sin..."
