Don't you
play
the silent
alibi,
a belief
so false,
yet intense
to seem true.
I'm aware
that I was
in search
of the
Fool's Gold.
Yet,
I'm a man
gone astray
to be
hopelessly
in love.

Times, I reflect upon ...
"Hold me,
I'm too little
to free my arms
and fly past the raining skies",
she whispered in a mooned smile,
when I first held her.
The eyelids folded
as she saw the light of the day,
the bright morning rays
caressed her hazel eyes,
as she took a nap in my lap.
"Walk besides me,
I'm too little
to fall on my knees
and run past the wild world",
she hummed with a glint at me,
when I first read her.
The soft cupped toes
touched the burning earth,
as her little pink fingers
clutched my cold wrist,
when she took her first steps.
"Lets play
Hide and seek,
Cop and the thief, brother",
she stammered in a hustling tone,
when I first heard her.
We wetted ourselves in chilling rain,
ran around the hearth in winter,
waited to play with the butterflies
and smelled the scent of flowers in the spring.
Its been endless days,
seasons and years gone by,
and she's grown big to teach me things.
As I ride on the waves of times,
those little moments
in an unwitting pleasant way
numbs my eyes in joy.

Tonight,call me your Dame...
It's been ages of silence
I have slept upon.
Remember me?
The rose that smiled at you.
The sparkling tiny star
That winked at you.
The crescent moon
That hung in your wait.
The cuckoo
That voiced sweet melodies.
The sea breeze
That brushed your brows.
The blue skies
That mirrored you
In my Angelic eyes.
How would you recollect?
You wore me
In the scent of Cinnamomums.
You walked past me
Amdist the lovely violets.
You touched me
Of my satin fur silk.
And you held me
In the dark clad nights.
Look at me,
I'm dressed in flakes of snow.
Ear rings strewn of yearns,
Thin Black hair
Doused of cloves,
The beads of silvery pines
That lay studded
In the white gown of clouds.
Did you notice?
I know,You failed to.
In my weariness of you,
I long for an eternal wish;
Tonight,Call me your Dame...

An epitaph
Don't wet your tears
for I'm still breathing
down your ears.
The lemonade
I drank for years
has turned
sourer and sourer
just like the
blood that turned
a clot
when it kissed
the foul air amidst the dust.
Do Cry over
the tomb with
no red roses
but with a heart
of taste and
a soul of memories.
I'm watching you
even when
I'm down here silent
with pale eyes
and a wish
to be that tear
which would
roll on your
cheeks like pearls.

The Haircut and the shave
I wore long hair
Sporting a rugged beard.
Hesitant was I
To get rid of my possessions.
They grew longer
By the day
And formed curls.
Just the way
Our mind refuses
And intertwines
When they aren't
Pruned of stagnancy.
Window panes,
Through them I see,
The Mammoth structure
Being built aesthetically
Of marbles,cement and glass.
The land was once,
Home to long grown
Stubborn weeds,
Smooth,Untrimmed grasses.
They spoke a familiar
Language;
The tales of
Nights,days,air and blues.
And now
I can't read;
Essays of Stone heights.
I wondered
Did The land
smelled fine now?
I heard a call;
The land
That once enjoyed
Wild pastures.
"I also wore
Those old and torn delights.
Now I dream of change.
Was I bolshy of my possessions
I Would Still
Have been a mirage
Of unknown glories."
I walked down the door,
Down to the barber;
The Haircut and the Shave.

The little ice candy
Quick feet
That knew no steps
learned to walk,
sometimes
down on the knees,
sometimes stumbling
in a miss.
Amidst the toy cars
I tried to drive
my fantasy's
on the slippery
wet floor.
Loved the taste
of chocolate
that would
taste my
pink unripe lips.
Hated the smell
of the milk
that I would gulp
down my throat
in a frenzy hurry.
Played with marbles
and what not.
Dirtied myself
in mud all day,
no worries to wash
and all I knew was
to throw up my hands
in air,
to fly in the sky
and kiss the earth
back again.
And now,
my eyes are sore
and numb in tears,
Can I get
my little ice candy back?

In awe of her
The rose melted lips
of hers
hugged in rosiness
to conceal their words
just like the lilys
that blushed in treacly cense
when the bees kissed them.
The quivering eyelashes
of hers
fluttered in naughtiness
to sometimes blink
and to sometimes wink
just like the innocence
in my eyes
that surrendered
unto a heavenly uneasiness
to hide from their seething arrows.
The jet black strands of hair
of hers
wore the scent
of the blossoming jasmine
to touch the soft skin
beneath my ears,
just like the waves
of silken touch
and of raging love
that furiously galloped
lashing at my heart shore.
The satin fur skin
of hers
tasted me sublime
and embraced me
in the eternal warmth,
just like the crescent hung moon
that awaited to be
adored and relished
to bring its pristine soul alive
to make love
forever and forever...

Resonance
The cerise eyed sun
peeped through the high rise sky,
lighting the chilling dawn
in an aura of majestic colors.
The Sunflowers came alive
with golden dimples,
greeting the daybreak
with morning yawns and
effervescent smiles.
The lazy dew drops
one by one
dribbled along the grass blades
until they seeped
down the belly of earth.
The singing sparrows
swarmed across the skyline
in vibrant verves,
chirping a note
of million words.
The winds from far away
ran amok in mirth
as the rain
and the weathercock
got to play.

O' Summer Rain
O' summer rain,
Your mystic drops
An enigma in my sweet pain...
In your blue garbs,
Adorned with snowy clouds,
The White Rain gushes;
Weaving scarlet beads
To garland the blossomed love.
In which shells of flights,
Would the pearl open its wings?
In which eyes of doe,
Would the spectacle unfold?
In which seas of emotions,
Would my life set sail?
In which drops of thee,
Would I surrender?
O' summer rain,
Your mystic drops
An enigma in my sweet pain...
The treacly scent of first pour,
Fondles and kisses the earth's fore.
Which drop of thee,
Gave life to that seed?
Which drop of thee,
Bred that mead?
Which glint of she,
I owe?
Which touch of she
I trove?
I see her navel jewelled in sky
Chassing amidst the angels in pry.
Her footsteps on the silent move,
Imprinted my heart in vibes and shove.
She stood there with a palette,
Splashing colors of Rainbow.
My eyes mesmerize, I bow.
O' summer rain,
Your mystic drops
An enigma in my sweet pain...
In the cense of her
I live my breath.
In the spell of her
I conquer my death.
With Thy misty breeze
O' summer rain, I have fell prey to she.
The trees,birds and peaches
Drenched in your drops
Seek in quest for their mates.
In the moonbeams and night,
In the sunshines and light,
My heart has set its pilgrimage
Towards the land of she.
My soul would rest in peace
In the love shrine of she.
O' summer rain,
Your mystic drops
An enigma in my sweet pain...

One,Two,Three
One,two,three
I smiled in glee.
Blind folded eyes,
Crispy skies.
Hid she in the winds,
And, I waited with wings.
Four,five,six
I broke the jinx.
I held her in trance,
And, She fretted in glance.
Winked she,
And winked I.
I bet,
The sun set
Shyed away
As the moons met.
Seven,eight,nine
I fell for her in pine.
The moment freezed,
The gleams teased.
Strawberry red blush,
Fresh lime gush.
Her rose lined lips
Enticed me in trips.
She smelled wine,
And I slept fine.
And, the count Ten.
Ah, Ouch,
Fell Out of my slumber Den.

Tears
They trickled
one by one
incessantly
to fill
the abyss of pain.
I watched them
eye to eye
in hollow numbness
to fill
the empty pots
of self.
The saline drops
strayed
on my notepad
and the ink
ceased to
form letters.
The nib of
my life
dried in
the ink blots
of white paper,
not knowing
if ever,
it could pen again...

Love Tease
Drops of white rain,
Drips of green wine,
Caresses my eye-brow line.
I Run to thee
And you freeze in spree.
Are the drops you
Or I'm a drop of you?
Amber leaves,Green grass,
Gold evades the eye of brass.
The images beckon me,
Jingles of anklets remind me,
You are the one in my broken glass
Veil and immerse me lass.
The wings of my desires
Suffices in your flames.
The voice in blissful jive
Cedes in your waves of verve.
Hands frail
And the eyes on trail,
Searches thee
But you play and flee?
The tingling steps
And the soften tulips
Beads me in whims.
You embrace the scent of me
And I would talk to the bee.
Dreams don't end
And you never transcend.
Skies in crimson
And the stars in union
I envy.
Before you tease me,
Bury me in your echoing chimes
And etch me in those surreal times...

April Showers
Sun bathed in apple red,
Clouds flavoured in vanilla,
The air smells of mischief
As the parched rain chimes.
O' the lovely blush
Of the cheeks.
O' the call of the summer
By its beloved spring.
O' the sands awaiting
To wet in rain.
O' thy scent of elixir
Palliating my senses.
O' thy droplets
Jazzing my lips.
I stand by the windowpane,
Gazing at,
Yellow primes flirting with bees.
Green leaflets making love.
Through the ridges,
Drops trickling
And palpitating
To cloy and coalesce
Into the mud.
The icy drops necked
And slithered me.
In awe of thy charm
I want to cede
In thy heavenly abode.
April showers,April Showers,
Come embrace me.
I waited for thy pour
To souse in your soul...

Strums Of Silence
Lips may stay silent,
But the silence lingers on,
As they turn into words
And speak to me.
In those melting tears,
Held in your eyes,
What will you melt?
With the aching heart,
Dipped in melancholy,
What will you rinse?
In the disguised smiles
And the playful winks,
What will you hide?
In the flames of past
And the pains that don't last,
Will you burn your Identity?
In numbness of void
Tied to the shackles of blame,
Will you bury those untrue lies?
On the walks of life,
When the reality bites
And the steps stumble,
Would you abandon
Those dreams in fear?
O' you mute soul
Even I'm a part of you.
Hear my mum words
And see those unturned gleams.

Down the memory lane...
We met,
When the clouds weren't blue.
When eons flinched into seconds.
When distances knew no measure.
And When Sun shone like moon.
We spoke in signs
Exchanging a glance.
I dived into the aura of her eyes
To lose the depth of it.
And,She swam across it
Usurping all the seas of my gleams.
I dissolved in the hues of her smile
To paint myself.
And,She blinked her innocence
To ink my canvas.
I melted my emotions
In her silent dreams.
And,She veiled my yearning
Through strings of her heart.
I Wore the mystic fragrance of her's
To soak in my senses.
She swayed and frayed.
And the rose water still lingers on.
I wonder, was she an enigma
Or was I a timeless suitor?
Moments have faded
And memories have betrayed.
I lived my lifetime
In the blink of an eye.
Unsaid words
And Unspoken feelings
Are the only silent pillars
That speak of us.
